Crazy Chocolate Cake

This recipe is one of the simplest and best tasting cakes you'll ever make. Great when you're expecting last-minute company. Very moist.

Grease and flour a square 9"x9" cake pan.

• 1/2 cup butter
  
• 1 cup white sugar
  
• 1 egg
  
• 1 tsp vanilla
  
• pinch of salt
  
• 1/2 cup cocoa
  
• 1-1/2 cups flour
  
• 1 tsp baking soda
  
• 1 tsp baking powder
  
• 1/2 cup milk
  
• 1/2 cup boiling water

1. Preheat oven to 350°F.
2. Put all the above ingredients in one mixing bowl in the order given.
3. **IMPORTANT** Do NOT stir until you add the 1/2 cup of boiling water at the very last.
4. Mix well, pour into pan and bake for 45 minutes or until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean.
