ingredients
  • 1 box yellow cake mix
  • 8 oz. sour cream
  • 3/4 cup vegetable oil
  • 4 eggs
  • 1/4 cup sugar
  • 3 tbsp brown sugar
  • 1/2 cup chopped pecans
  • 1 tsp ground cinnamon
  • 1 cup powdered sugar
  • 2 tbsp. milk
  • 2 tsp vanilla
preparation
  1. Preheat oven to 325°F.
  2. Grease and flour a bundt pan.
  3. In a bowl, mix brown sugar, pecans and cinnamon; set aside.
  4. In a large bowl blend cake mix, sour cream, oil, eggs, and sugar.
  5. Beat on high speed for 2 minutes.
  6. Pour 2/3 of cake mixture into pan.
  7. Sprinkle dry mixture on top then swirl with a knife.
  8. Evenly spread the remaining batter on top.
  9. Bake for 1 hour and 15 minutes.
  10. While cake is baking, blend powdered sugar, vanilla and milk together to make icing.
  11. While cake is still warm, pour icing over top.
