Bubba’s Beer Basted Chicken

ingredients
  • 4 small chickens, cooked, cut in pieces
  • 1-2 large cloves garlic, finely minced
  • 1/2 tablespoon black pepper
  • 1/2 tablespoon ground chilli
  • 6-8 oz. beer
  • 1/4 cup vinegar
  • 1/4 cup soy sauce
  • 16 oz. (2 cups) tomato sauce
preparation
  1. Combine all the ingredients (except the chicken) in a saucepan and simmer.

  2. Brush on chicken.

  3. Serves 6 (minimum)

 

WASH HANDS, UTENSILS, SINK AND EVERYTHING THAT HAS BEEN IN CONTACT WITH RAW CHICKEN. Sanitize the counter, sinks and any containers or trays that have been used. Use a solution of 1 teaspoon of unscented chlorine bleach in 1 quart of water, and let dry completely.
Practice Food Safety and reduce the possibility of food contamination and illness.
