This is one of the easiest ways to make buffalo wings on your grill, and you can make them as spicy as you want.... Try also with chops, steaks, lamb and ribs. Delicious!

Buffalo Wings

ingredients
  1. Buy a bag of frozen wings.

  2. Open the bag and pour in your favorite Bar-B-Q Sauce or your favorite home-made sauce, only enough to cover the wings. Don't over do it!!! (Read *Note below!)

  3. Add your spices (Cayenne Pepper, Black Pepper, Garlic, etc.) mix well and either reseal the bag or fold it closed clipped with a clothspin. Marinade for at least 2 hours UNDER REFRIGERATION. (Read ** Personal Note below!)

  4. The key thing is to use "EXTREMELY" LOW heat on your grill. Bar-B-Q Sauce will burn on high heat.

  5. Use tongs to turn 'VERY OFTEN". Turn and Re-turn - keep the flames low, as the wings cook, they will get a glazed look to them.

preparation
*Note: When I make this, or a similar recipe, I have the barbecue flame lit on ONE SIDE of the grill only. I brown the chicken carefully, then place my chicken on the other side (the unlit side of the bbq), close the lid so the chicken can cook more thoroughly, turning it every 5-10 minutes or so. It browns up beautifully.

** Personal Note: Always wash chicken well and pat it dry before adding any sauces, coatings, etc. Use a clean large bowl with a tight-fitting lid or OTHER plastic bag for coating, not the original packaging. Always refrigerate until ready to be cooked.

WASH HANDS, UTENSILS, SINK AND EVERYTHING THAT HAS BEEN IN CONTACT WITH RAW CHICKEN. Sanitize the counter, sinks and any containers or trays that have been used. Use a solution of 1 teaspoon of unscented chlorine bleach in 1 quart of water, and let dry completely.
Practice Food Safety and reduce the possibility of food contamination and illness.
