DRY RUB FOR BARBECUE

Makes about 2 ounces of coating mix.

ingredients
  • 1/2 teaspoon White pepper
  • 1 teaspoon Black pepper
  • 1 Tablespoon Salt
  • 2 teaspoons Paprika
  • 2 teaspoons Garlic, granulated
  • 2 teaspoons Onion powder
  • 1/4 teaspoon Red pepper, ground

preparation
Mix all ingredients.

Rub an even coating on meat (chicken, beef, pork) before grilling or smoking.

Store unused portion in an airtight jar.

 

WASH HANDS, UTENSILS, SINK AND EVERYTHING THAT HAS BEEN IN CONTACT WITH RAW CHICKEN. Sanitize the counter, sinks and any containers or trays that have been used. Use a solution of 1 teaspoon of unscented chlorine bleach in 1 quart of water, and let dry completely.
Practice Food Safety and reduce the possibility of food contamination and illness.
