
Pie Crusts
NEVER FAIL PIE CRUST

- Sift:
- 5 cups flour
- 1 teaspoon baking powder
- 1 teaspoon salt
- Cut in:
- 1 lb lard or shortening (I use butter)

Break 1 egg into a measuring cup; add 1-3 tbsp vinegar and 2 tbsp brown sugar.
Fill to make 1 cup with milk.
Mix the liquid into the flour mixture.
Yields approximately 7 single crusts.
