ingredients
  • 1 12-oz. bag of fresh cranberries
  • 1/2 cup chopped English walnuts
  • 1 1/2 cups sugar
  • 2 eggs
  • 1 cup flour
  • 1 cup sugar
  • 2/3 cup melted butter
  • Vanilla ice cream, if desired
preparation
  • Butter a 10-inch pie dish.

  • Pour the 12 ounces of cranberries into the dish.

  • Sprinkle 1/2 cup of sugar and all of the walnuts on top of cranberries.

  • In a separate dish, mix eggs, flour, remaining sugar and melted butter.

  • Pour the mixture over the walnuts in the pie dish.

  • Bake at 325°F for 45 minutes
