ingredients
  • prepared pastry
  • 2 eggs
  • 2 cups brown sugar
  • 2 tbsp white vinegar
  • 1 tsp vanilla
  • 1/2 cup melted butter
  • 1-1/2 cups raisins and nuts mixed
preparation
  • Beat eggs until whites and yolks are blended.
  • Beat in sugar, add vinegar and vanilla.
  • Stir in melted butter.
  • Add raisin mixture.

  • Butter the tart tins generously before lining tins with pastry.
  • Fill 1/2 - 2/3 with raisin mixture.
  • Bake in a hot oven 375°F until filling is firm - about 15 minutes.
  • Yield about 24 tarts.
